Its substantial textile industry concentrates on selling fabric and yarn to the rest of the world, and a small apparel niche in generally small designers to the US, EU and Japan. Though from time to time, its garment makers create a flurry of publicity about themselves abroad, relatively high prices and limited marketing skills have stopped Brazil's clothes makers from ever making any serious headway anywhere else
