PwC gets record fines for incompetent auditing at Green’s BhS

PwC (the accountancy firm formerly known as Price Waterhouse) was fined £10.1 mn – the highest fine ever imposed in the UK on an accountant for incompetence – on June 11 after it allowed Philip Green to cook the books when his greed bankrupted retailer BhS.
